Presented in the original colors of Old English white with a Crimson interior, this MG A Twin Cam is very striking. Having been thoroughly restored over the course of eight years, there is no part of this car that wasnt touched. The paintwork is near flawless as well as all britework, trim, and lenses. Signature Twin Cam identifiers like the original Dunlop wheels and emblems are both in pristine condition too. Inward, the Crimson hides, carpets, door and dash trim are all in excellent condition and complement the white exterior well. Smiths gauges are clean, clear, and operate as they should. Hidden behind the seats is a grey convertible top with removable side curtains, also in near new shape.

The Twin Cam gets its name from the DOHC, 1,600 cc engine, which features an aluminum head, higher compression ratio, and dual SU carburetors. The motor is backed by a 4 speed manual which will help bring the car to an estimated top speed of 113 mph! The entire drivetrain of this car was removed at the time of restoration and rebuilt top to bottom. A new wiring harness was installed and triple checked along all other electrical components. Simply put this well sorted Twin Cam is a clean and road ready as they get. Driving the car is a gas but you quickly learn to appreciate the 4 wheel disc brakes when cornering! It starts quickly, stops appropriately, and garners a crowd wherever she goes.

The Last Detail recently acquired this 66 Coupe from a prominent collector who recently passed away. His specialty was authentic unrestored original cars. With exception of a tired exterior lacquer re-spray and a recent complete engine re-build, this car appeared to be 100% original! After evaluating the cars authenticity, documentation and extensive service history, The Last Detail determined that a proper exterior re-spray would be in the cars best interest. In doing so, we took a very nice original car and raised the bar to a much higher level, making this Vette one youd be proud to own and show at any Concours event! The deep mirror finish is flawless from every angle and is a wonderful example that will make any Stingray enthusiast proud!

The original stainless and chrome is exceptional with a mirror shine. The original black seats are virtually unblemished, showing only the slightest patina and is absolutely gorgeous! The carpets, interior panels, headliner and center console are all in excellent condition. The original gauges, AM/FM radio and factory optioned teak steering wheel are completely pristine as well!  The cars undercarriage is completely original, solid, straight and sound!

Corvettes in this condition and with this amount of originality are extremely rare and highly prized in todays collector market. Finding honest and correct examples like this one is becoming harder and harder. If youve been looking for the perfect driver that can be taken to local events or just enjoyed privately, this car checks off all the important boxes: numbers matching, mechanically strong, cosmetically correct and gorgeous with a solid undercarriage.

The Last Detail has always had a great appreciation for the finest vintage and collector cars. We only buy and sell cars that we ourselves would personally be interested in owning.
