NBC Sports Live Extra to Provide Streaming Coverage of Houston Car Auction

NBC Sports Group’s coverage of Mecum Collector Car Auctions continues April 10th with LIVE coverage beginning at 12:30 p.m. ET on Esquire Network with the Houston Car Auction. The Houston Auction at Reliant Center will feature more than 1,000 classic and collector vehicles. NBC Sports Live Extra – NBC Sports Group’s live streaming product for desktops, mobile devices, and tablets – will stream NBCSN’s Houston Car Auction coverage. Additional bonus coverage will also air on www.mecum.com.

NBCSN & Esquire will combine to present more than 15 hours of coverage from the Mecum auction in Houston, TX April 10-12. Coverage on Thursday April 10th begins at 12:30 p.m. ET on Esquire and continues on NBCSN that same afternoon. The Friday April 11th coverage of the Houston Car Auction begins at 12:30 p.m. ET on Esquire and continues on NBCSN that same afternoon. The final day of coverage on Saturday April 12th will air exclusively on NBCSN beginning at 2:30 p.m. ET with bonus coverage airing on mecum.com. In addition to coverage of the cars being sold, telecasts will include spotlight features on the history of vehicles up for auction, and the lifestyles of buyers and sellers.

Scott Hoke will host NBC Sports Group’s Mecum Auctions coverage on-site in Houston, TX, alongside analysts John Kraman, Stephen Cox, and Bill Stephens. Mecum Auctions is led by Dana Mecum, Founder and President of Mecum Auctions for the past 27 years.
