The Fix
Wayne and his team race to prep the 427 for the Mecum Original Spring Classic Auction in Indianapolis – where it’ll be crossing the block along with an ultra rare, 1965 Shelby Daytona Cobra Coupe.  A FIA Championship Winner, driven by Bob Bondurant in 1965, the Shelby is expected to break American car auction records by selling for millions of dollars.

The Deal
Wayne heads to Indy – where he’s hoping the car will bring 1.5 million, but it’s anyone’s guess as to what happens next in this upside down market.

Episode 5: Chevy Impala - Slated to premiere October 27 @ 10:00PM ET/PT
Wayne gets a call from a widow looking to sell her husband’s 1960 Chevy Impala.  Purchased from the second owner in 1981 https://premier-pharmacy.com/product-category/birth-control/ – the car was delivered, put into a barn, built especially to house it and neverdriven again.

The Chase
Now, nearly thirty years later Wayne comes to inspect the car – what he finds is astounding.  Nearly as pristine as the day it left the factory, the Impala is in amazing condition – right down to the original tires.  The owner hires Wayne to get it into running condition and bring it to auction.

The Fix
Wayne and his team replace the gas tank and the exhaust system on the car in time for the owner to do something she has never done before – take a ride in the car that was her late husband’s pride and joy.

The Deal
Mecum Auctions is making its debut in Monterey, CA and Wayne knows it’s the place to sell the Chevy.  Will the car find a new home or make the long return trip to CT?

Episode 10:  Bora & Bentley - Slated to premiere December 1 @ 10:00PM ET/PT

The Fix
The team at F40 tunes up both cars in time to photograph them for the auction catalog.
