Mecum and RFD-TV Bring Live Broadcast to Walworth County
Mecum Auctions and RFD-TV formed a partnership that will bring a Live TV broadcast to Walworth, Wis. on Saturday, Aug. 4. 2012. Mecum Gone Farmin' will offer over 200 tractors Aug. 3-4, 2012 with RFD-TV broadcasting live on Rural TV.
Hosted at Mecum’s Corporate Office in Walworth, the 2012 Gone Farmin' Vintage Tractor Auction will feature some of the most desirable and coveted pieces of farm equipment in the country. Headlined by an early production 1939 Ford 9N sporting a rare aluminum hood (Lot S66), the offering includes tractors from the collection of local John Deere franchisee, Gary Holland, and a handful from the Jones' Family Farm of Linn, Wis. The preview opens at 4 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 2, and the two-day auction starts at 10 a.m. Friday and Saturday.
