Mecum and HD Theater Return to Des Moines Offering 500 Collector Cars
The Mecum summer road trip continues across America offering more than 500 collector cars up for bid at the Des Moines Auction, July 14-15, 2011 at the Iowa State Fairgrounds.
Mecum will offer a variety of vehicles during the two-day auction, including Corvettes, Camaros, Ford Thunderbirds, Pontiac GTOs, Studebakers and more. The event will be held in the all-indoor, air conditioned Varied Industries building.
The auction is open to the public with tickets available at the door for only $15; children 12 and under are free. Attendees can be part of the live auction action during Mecum's national TV show "Mecum Auto Auction: Muscle Cars & More" on Discovery Communications' HD Theater.
