The World’s Greatest Collector Car Auctions™ President will be Featured Guest Speaker at Shelby American 50th Anniversary Celebration East
SCOTTSDALE, AZ. – May 23, 2012 – Barrett-Jackson Auction Company, The World’s Greatest Collector Car Auctions™, is pleased to announce that its President, Steve Davis, has been selected to be a featured guest speaker at the Shelby American 50th Anniversary Celebration East on June 1 at the Ford Nationals at Summit Motorsports Park in Carlisle, PA.
Shelby American has been commemorating its 50th anniversary all year, with celebrations starting at Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale in January and a planned big finish at Barrett-Jackson Las Vegas Sept. 20 – 22. The Shelby American Celebration East continues the festivities with the largest gathering of Shelbys ever, during a five-day event that starts with track racing, a road rally through three states, and a celebration culminating at the Ford Nationals in Carlisle where Shelby owners can enjoy some of the rarest Shelbys ever made. Barrett-Jackson will also be making a first-ever Ford Nationals appearance with its display, where representatives will be handing out information on upcoming events.
On Friday night, June 1, the Carlisle Midway belongs solely to Team Shelby. When the infield closes for the spectators Friday evening, it opens up for the official Team Shelby Northeast 50th Celebration VIP Event. With premium catering, an extraordinary setting, live music to enjoy and numerous Shelby and Ford VIPs in attendance, it will be an exciting commemoration.
