• Barrett-Jackson will host concerts by country music artists Rodney Atkins and Thompson Square as a part of auction week in Scottsdale
• Rodney Atkins, an ACM “Top New Male Vocalist” winner, will perform live on the Barrett-Jackson main stage at WestWorld on Saturday, Jan. 10, at 7:30 p.m.
• Thompson Square, ACM and CMA “Vocal Duo of the Year” winners, will perform live on Tuesday, Jan. 13, at 9 p.m.

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. – Dec. 2, 2014 – Barrett-Jackson, The World’s Greatest Collector Car AuctionsTM, announced today that it will host country music artists Rodney Atkins and Thompson Square as part of their exciting auction week in Scottsdale, Ariz., from Jan. 10-18, 2015, at WestWorld.Rodney Atkins, who is co-sponsored by Toby Keith’s “I Love This Bar & Grill” restaurant, will help kick off the auction week during Family Value Day on Saturday, Jan. 10, at 7:30 p.m. Country music duo Thompson Square will take center stage on Tuesday, Jan. 13, at 9 p.m.
“Barrett-Jackson and country music are both a part of the cultural fabric of America,” said Craig Jackson, chairman and CEO of Barrett-Jackson. “This is the first time in our company’s history that we’ve organized concerts of this scale and featured some of the most popular country artists.” Rodney Atkins, an ACM Top New Male Vocalist, is a country music singer/songwriter whose six chart-topping hits include “Take A Back Road,” “It’s America,” “Cleaning This Gun (Come On In Boy),” “These Are My People,” “Watching You” and “If You’re Going Through Hell (Before the Devil Even Knows).” His fourth studio album, Take A Back Road, yielded Atkins’ fastest-rising single to date with the title track and he is currently working on a new album for longtime label home Curb Records. |
Thompson Square is a husband/wife duo, comprised of Keifer and Shawna Thompson. They made music history by earning awards from both the ACM and CMA for “Vocal Duo of the Year” in 2012.
