David Ragan’s No. 34 Ford for Second Time at Phoenix International Raceway
Scottsdale, Ariz. (October 29, 2012) – After an incredibly successful Spring debut, Barrett-Jackson Auction Company will again sponsor and wrap David Ragan’s No. 34 Ford in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series AdvoCare 500 Nov. 11 at Phoenix International Raceway.
“More than 12 million viewers watched David Ragan drive Barrett-Jackson’s No. 34 Ford circle the track at the start the Sprint Cup Series in March,” said Craig Jackson, Chairman and CEO of Barrett-Jackson. “Now, they will enjoy Barrett-Jackson as part of the conclusion of NASCAR’s most celebrated competition series. The NASCAR Sprint Cup Series is the top racing series of NASCAR and broadcast nationally on ESPN. The November race at Phoenix International Raceway will mark the second-to-last race of the 36 in the Sprint Cup Series. The series is NASCAR’s highest level of competition, and annually draws attendance figures close to 200,000 and television viewership that has reached over 15 million. David Ragan is currently ranked 27th in the 2012 Official Driver Standings.
Phoenix International Raceway is a one-mile, low-banked race track located in Avondale, Arizona. PIR houses three major NASCAR events annually, bringing in over $470 million to Arizona’s economy.
