Barrett-Jackson Collector Car Week Roars into Palm Beach with the 2nd Annual Kick–Off Road Rally April 2
PALM BEACH, FLA. – Mar. 22, 2011 – The Barrett-Jackson Auction Company, creator of “The World’s Greatest Collector Car Auctions™,” puts the pedal to the metal with the 2nd annual Barrett-Jackson Palm Beach Road Rally on Saturday, April 2, 2011.
The Road Rally signals the start of the Collector Car Auction Week in Palm Beach. Barrett-Jackson strives to create the ultimate experience that will involve the entire Palm Beach community. The week culminates with the main event at the South Florida Fairgrounds April 7-9, where hundreds of automobiles will be up for auction.
The Road Rally will start at the Hilton West Palm Beach on Australian Avenue and travel to the Lake Pavilion with a champagne toast at the finish for all participants.
Road Rally participants will gather for check-in at the Hilton West Palm Beach, in the parking lot by 1 p.m. There, participants and spectators can get a sneak peek at all the rally cars. At 1:30 p.m. participants will take part in a safety meeting conducted by the Palm Beach Police Department. The Road Rally will depart at 2 p.m. and travel from the Hilton West Palm Beach to the Lake Pavilion. Immediately following the rally, Barrett-Jackson will host Barrett-Jackson Night at City Place from 4 p.m. – 8 p.m., where participants can purchase discounted tickets to the Barrett-Jackson Collector Car Auction and enjoy live entertainment and giveaways.
