Mecum Kicks off Spring with Kansas City Auction in March
Fresh off their $40-million Kissimmee Auction, Mecum Auctions is eager to kick off spring with the annual Kansas City Auction, March 11-12, 2011, at the Kansas City Convention Center/Bartle Hall in downtown Kansas City, MO.
“As one of the country’s fastest growing all-indoor auctions, our Kansas City event is in line to feature 500 collector cars up for bid. We are anxious to offer enthusiasts one-stop, indoor shopping to find the classic car they’ll truly be able to enjoy this spring,” said President Dana Mecum.
A variety of high-quality vehicles will cross the auction block, including a well-preserved 1965 Corvette Convertible 396/425 HP, 4-speed with the coveted Bloomington Gold Benchmark status. For a complete list of vehicles, or to pre-register to bid, visit www.Mecum.com.
The Kansas City Auction is open to the general public with tickets available at the door for $15. Mecum is still accepting consignments for the two-day auction, which will broadcast nationally on Discovery Communications’ HD Theater show “Mecum Auto Auction: Muscle Cars & More”. Fans can also watch the auction via live Webcast at www.Mecum.com. For more information, call 815.568.8888
