Mecum’s Inaugural Dallas Auction Expands to Three Days in October

Due to popular demand, Mecum Auctions, has expanded their inaugural event in Texas to three days, October 6-8, 2011 at the Dallas Convention Center.

Everything is bigger in Texas, including Mecum’s incredible lineup of 600 vehicles, which is one of the largest collector car offerings to ever grace the state. Consignments are heating up with a rare, factory supercharged 1957 Ford Custom Phase I (Lot S90) that is one of three known to exist and documented with the dealer invoice.

Also featured in the list of early consignments is a 1969 COPO Camaro boasting 41,541 actual miles (Lot S105); a 1964 Ford Thunderbolt (Lot S141.1); and an unrestored, black-on-black 1969 L88 Corvette (Lot S106).
Mecum’s Dallas Auction will broadcast live each day on the company’s popular television show “Mecum Auto Auction: Muscle Cars & More” airing on Discovery Communications HD Theater.

The auction is open to the general public with tickets available in advance or at the door for just $15 per day. For information about bidder registration or to consign a vehicle for this new event, visit www.Mecum.com or call 815.568.8888.
