This rare 1970 Buick Grand Sport 455 Stage 1 will not disappoint! Meticulously restored to its factory original glory, not one nut or bolt was overlooked including production tags and markings. It features the RR2 Fire Red exterior highlighted by a Factory installed Black Vinyl Top and accented by the 188 Black Vinyl Bucket Seat Interior. Fully Documented and one of only 664 455cui/369hp, 4 Speed, Air Conditioned GS Stage 1 cars produced in 1970. This fully loaded GS could quite possibly be 1 of only 1 due to the unusual options that it is equipped with.

Complimenting the Fire Red Exterior are Buick’s subtle upgrades that come as part of the GS Stage 1 performance package. The functional hood scoops, GS Stage 1 emblems and rally wheels with wide oval tires let passersby know that this isn’t just any ordinary Buick. All of the exterior chrome and stainless steel, right down to the side marker lenses are in excellent condition. The fully restored Black Bucket Seat Interior features an array of factory options including Air Conditioning, Power Windows, Power Locks, Power Driver side Bucket Seat, Tilt Steering Wheel, Rear View Mirror Map Light, Rally Gauges with Tachometer and optional Speed Alert, AM/FM Stereo Radio with Rear Speaker and a Rare Consolette which is just a shorter version of a full length console! The optional Courtesy Lighting Package illuminates the new carpet, headliner and vinyl upholstery. Softray Tinted Glass, Remote Control Mirror and Factory Custom Seat Belts (color matched with shoulder belts) finish off the interior options.

This 1970 features the formidable Buick 455cuiV8 producing 369hp and a whopping 510 ft lbs of torque. The 1970 Stage One 455’s featured a more aggressive camshaft, higher compression, unique cylinder heads and a specially tuned Rochester Quadrajet Carburetor.  Ours is still equipped with all of those factory parts and backed by a Muncie 4 Speed manual transmission and a 3:42 Positraction Rear Differential. Power Steering, Power Brakes and the F41 Rally Ride Control Suspension Package round out its performance upgrades.

The 70 Buick GS Stage 1 was the mightiest of all the muscle cars in 1970 and put out the highest amount of torque of any production car for decades to come. A thorough TLD service and inspection has just been performed to make sure that this car meets our strict standards. This GS also just received an interior and exterior detail to cover everything down to The Last Detail.
