1750 Spider Veloce with 5 Speed

Farina Red Exterior/Black Top and Interior

Meticulously Maintained Original Survivor

Low Original Miles supported by Service History

With a beautiful Farina Red “boat tail body” by the renowned Pininfarina , this Spider Veloce is one of the most sought after cars of its era! This survivor is in truly exceptional condition throughout with every panel, seam, pinch weld, etc., clearly in original shape! The 132 bhp, 1,779 cc DOHC aluminum inline four-cylinder engine is fitted with dual weber carbs and starts, runs and drives just as in 1969. It is equipped with a smooth shifting five-speed manual transmission, independent front suspension via unequal length A-arms and live axle rear suspension and transverse link, with front and rear coil springs, tube shocks, and anti-roll bars, and four-wheel hydraulic disc brakes. The black interior features the Farina Red on the dash, fully functioning instrumentation and a sporty wood grained steering wheel. The seats, carpet, door panels and rear cover are all in great shape. The Black cloth top is in nice shape as well. We have completely detailed this car and it shows beautifully, right down to the clear headlight covers!
Visually nearly identical to the earlier Spider 1600 Duetto, the 1750 Spider Veloce was the next step in the genesis of the Duetto Spider. Benefitting from significant refinements throughout, the 1750 Spider Veloce combined Pininfarina’s iconic “round-tail” spider (a.k.a. Osso di Seppia) with the improved mechanicals of the later series spiders.
Finding a decent Boat-Tail Spider Veloce today is difficult at best, and to find one in this condition is nearly impossible, don’t hesitate to long!!!!
