This extremely rare 2 Door Wagon is finished in Brilliant Red/Charcoal Gray Metallic Two tone separated by a hand painted silver stripe. During its “No Expense Spared” restoration it received a custom new Dove Gray Leather Interior. The electrical system was upgraded to 12v and every component was either replaced with new or fully rebuilt. This included the original, numbers matching 241 ci Hemi V8, 3 Speed manual trans with overdrive, rear differential, brakes and suspension. Many upgrades bring this easy to drive wagon into the modern world. Electronic ignition, Am/Fm with iPod port and hidden speakers, New Vintage Air heater/defroster, new body mounts, new or refurbished glass all around and Radial tires on custom colored Torque Thrust Wheels.
The 1953 Dodge Coronet Sierra 2 Door Wagon was an extremely low production model. Of the ones built, only about half of them received the Hemi and even fewer are equipped with a 3 Speed manual trans with overdrive. We doubt that you will ever seen one, although Jay Leno does own a ’54 Model!
This wagon has received the full Last Detail inspection and service and is ready for its next cruise as the family “grocery getter”!
